OpGen, Inc. Receives Incubator Company of the Year Award

In recognition of businesses across the county that have shown steadfast commitment to business growth, job creation, workforce training and development, disability hiring, environmental health and personal achievement, OpGen, Inc. was selected as the 2008 Incubator Company of the Year by Montgomery County Maryland’s Department of Economic Development. The award was presented by award-winning FOX5 news anchor Shawn Yancy in the October award ceremony. County Executive Isiah Leggett stated in his closing commentary regarding the award recipients, “…they truly reflect the excellence, diversity and entrepreneurial spirit that exist in Montgomery county’s workforce and business community.”
